Coaches Memberships

Membership is required for individuals who are coaching, training and/or interacting with athletes and kids for skills development and/or participation experience of any kind relating to the sport of cheer in Trinidad and Tobago.

Eligibility Requirement

  • Register with the Trinidad and Tobago Cheer Federation

  • Accept Terms & Conditions of Membership: Coach members are bound by the terms and conditions of membership outlined in our Coaches Responsibility & Code of Conduct.

  • Proof of Identity: A current photo will need to be uploaded to the member profile.

  • Membership fee: Paid for the current membership term.

  • Background Check (Police Record)

  • Complete TTCF Athlete Protection Education: SECURE CHEER SPORT Program

Benefits of Membership

  • Eligible to coach within TTCF schools, teams, clubs, community cheer programs.

  • Access to all TTCF training and development seminars/workshops for coaches provided locally and internationally through the International Cheer Union (governing body) and other affiliated cheer associations.

  • Eligible to participate in TTCF-sanctioned events
    (Participation in, but not limited to competitions, activities, programs (locally & Internationally) under affiliated world governing bodies for the sport)

  • Access to members-only resources: training material, update to date skills and technique information, rules and technical skills seminars/ workshops, Quality Assurance Officers support and guidance, leadership training and development opportunities.

  • Eligible to participate in local & international skills, building and tumbling certification processes (industry standard requirements per each level of coaching).

  • TTCF ID card with recognition & endorsement of certification & training status

  • Registered and listed in TTCF’s directory of professionals with details/records for experience, skills, building and tumbling certification, credentialing level, background check verification and SECURE CHEER SPORT training.

  • Eligible to participate in TTCF Advancement & Development opportunities:
    1. professional development and leadership courses offered through the TTCF COACHESU.
    2. Administration and Operation committees that shape the future of the sport & athletes’ growth.
    3. Sports education and specialized training.

Fees, Membership Term & Activation of Benefits

  • Membership fee is $350 per membership year.

  • Membership term begins September 1 and ends on July 30 the following year

  • Membership is activated once the membership fee has been paid and all registration requirements are met and completed.

  • Membership renewals are due on or before August 30th. If membership is paid during the membership year; membership fees will not be prorated for delayed or late-season registration.

  • Eligibility and the associated membership benefits begin once the membership is activated and the coach is eligible.

  • Access to benefits are not retroactive.

  • Membership fees, once paid to the TTCF, are non-refundable and non-transferable. This means the funds may not be applied to a different coach. Once the membership has been paid for a specific coach, the membership belongs to that coach only and may not be transferred to anyone else.

  • Membership belongs to the coach regardless of program affiliation.

  • Allows participation in TTCF sanctioned events as long as the coach meets all eligibility requirements.
